Saskatoon Police have charged a woman after responding to a call for service involving a firearm yesterday evening.
At approximately 6:15 p.m., July 17, 2025, police responded to the 200 block of 10th Street East after it was reported a woman was wielding a black firearm, acting erratically, and striking vehicles in a parking lot. Upon arrival, the suspect approached officers carrying a bag and began to raise a black handgun from within. She initially refused to comply with officers directions to drop the bag before throwing the weapon the ground. Once the woman was in custody, officers were able to determine the weapon was a BB gun.
The suspect is believed to have been under the influence of an intoxicant.
The 35-year-old woman is charged with Mischief Over $5000.
