The Collision Analyst Unit is investigating following a fatal collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian last night.

Shortly before 10:00 p.m. on July 23, 2025, police were called to the area of Idylwyld Drive North and Circle Drive for a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located the adult female victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. Police and paramedics attempted lifesaving measures; however, she was declared deceased at the hospital a short time later. Next of kin notifications have been made and police will not be releasing the victim’s name. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and police are continuing to investigate.
