Two people were transported to hospital following a collision yesterday morning.

Shortly before 10:30 a.m. on July 24, 2025, police were called to the intersection of 38th Street West and Avenue G North for a report of a two-vehicle collision. Upon arrival, officers observed significant damage to both vehicles. The drivers were transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Further investigation determined that one of the vehicles had disobeyed a stop sign and collided with the other in the intersection; one vehicle then struck a tree and the other struck a house.

Members of the Collision Analyst Unit were called to investigate. The driver of the vehicle that disobeyed the stop sign was issued a ticket for proceeding from a stop sign before safe to do so.
