One man was transported to hospital following a stabbing early this morning.

At around 1:30 a.m. on July 25, 2025, police were called to the 200 block of 21st Street East for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from what was believed to be a life-threatening stab wound; he was transported to hospital by paramedics for treatment of his injury. Continued investigation determined that the stabbing had occurred on a path near a wooden gazebo along Spadina Crescent East and that the suspect was believed to be unknown to the victim.

Officers checked the area; however, the suspect was not located. Police are continuing to investigate.
