One man was transported to hospital following a stabbing early this morning.

At around 4:00 a.m. on July 25, 2025, police were called to a residence in the 300 block of Avenue J South for a report of an unknown problem. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from two stab wounds inside. He was transported to hospital by paramedics for treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries. Further investigation found that the victim had been sitting on a bench in the 1100 block of 20th Street West when he was approached from behind and stabbed. It is unknown if the suspect(s) knew the victim.
