Members of the Serious Assault Unit are investigating a weekend incident which left a 24 year old Saskatoon woman injured.

At approximately 7:30 a.m., July 26, 2025, Police were called to a home in the 300 block of Avenue R South. Inside, they located a woman suffering from serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The woman reported waking up to four or five unknown women in her home, one of whom threatened her with a knife while another woman struck her with a machete.

The victim was transported to hospital.
