A woman has been charged following a report of a firearm yesterday morning.

At approximately 11:00 a.m., July 29, 2025, patrol officers were dispatched to a report of a woman brandishing a firearm during an altercation with a male outside of a mall in the 200 block of 1st Avenue South. Upon arrival, police located the suspect in an alley in the 100 block of 2nd Avenue South. Upon her arrest, Police determined the weapon she was in possession of to be an imitation firearm.

A 20-year-old female is charged with Possession of a Weapon for Purpose of Committing an Offence.
