A man is facing a weapons-related charge after a report of a firearm yesterday afternoon.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m., July 29, 2025, patrol officers responded to a report of a firearm that was located next to a sleeping male in the 10 block of King Street. Upon arrival, police located the male, awake and sitting near the train tracks. Police located a firearm nearby, which was determined to be an air pistol. Further investigation confirmed he also had an outstanding warrant.

The 30-year-old male is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
