Two Saskatoon men, ages 21 and 32, are facing a number of charges following two armed robberies which occurred yesterday.
At approximately 10:00 a.m., August 4, 2025, Police were called to a liquor store at Warman Road and Assiniboine Drive. A staff member reported that two males had entered the store with what was believed to be a weapon, stole some items and fled in a green Ford Bronco. As the officers were investigating, they received a report of another robbery taking place at a gas station in the 800 block of 22nd Street West. Staff at that business reported that two males entered the store and threatened them with a firearm before stealing items and fleeing in greed Ford Bronco. A short time later a patrol officer located a vehicle matching the description outside an apartment building in the 200 block Avenue V South. With assistance from members of the Tactical Support Unit and Canine Unit on shift, the suspects exited the residence after some negotiation.
No one was physically injured during the incidents.
The Ford Bronco was found to be stolen and further charges are pending.
Both men are facing charges of Armed Robbery. The 32 year old is also facing charges of wearing a disguise, possession of a firearm and had outstanding warrants of arrest.
