A 12 year old girl is facing charges following an incident involving a knife at a Saskatoon park yesterday.
At approximately 3:45 p.m., August 7, 2025, Police were called to the park in the 100 block of Campion Crescent. Witnesses reported seeing the girl threaten an 11 year old boy with a knife, before the boy was able to flee. Officers located the girl at a nearby home where she was found to be in possession of a knife.
She is now facing charges of Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
The accused and victim are known to each other. No one was physically injured during the incident.
