Members of the Serious Assault Unit are investigating several stabbing incidents which occurred over the weekend.
At approximately 6:00 a.m., August 10, 2025, a 44 year old man was brought in to Royal University Hospital with life-threatening stab wounds. He was able to tell Police that the incident occurred in Victoria Park in the 400 block of Spadina Crescent. The man is now in stable condition in hospital. There is currently no suspect description.
At approximately 4:45 a.m., August 10, 2025, Police were called to the 1400 block of 21st Street West. A woman had arrived at that address, suffering from stab wounds, reporting that she had been stabbed by three men at Avenue O and 21st Street. The woman is now being treated in hospital.
At approximately 6:15 p.m., August 10, 2025, officers were called to the 300 block Avenue M South. A 28 year old woman was suffering from stab wounds. It was reported that the suspect was wearing a black hoodie and pants. The woman was transported to hospital where she is receiving treatment.
At approximately 1:40 a.m., August 9, 2025, A 40 year old man attended to St. Paul's Hospital suffering from a stab wound. He reported an altercation had taken place in the 100 block of Avenue P South. The suspect in this investigation is known to the victim.
