A woman is facing charges after she was involved in a physical altercation yesterday afternoon with a knife and bear spray.

Shortly after 1:30 p.m., August 14, 2025, police received a report of two women involved in a physical altercation in the 100 block of Spadina Crescent East. It was reported that knives were present and bear spray had been deployed by a female. Responding officers located a woman matching the suspect description nearby. Upon taking her into custody, they found her to have a knife in her bag.

While there were uninvolved persons suffering from the effects of bear spray, there were no further physical injuries reported.

The 32-year-old female is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
