On August 14, 2025, with assistance from the Drug and Tactical Support Units, Crime Reduction Team investigators executed search warrants and arrested four individuals in connection to a cocaine trafficking investigation.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted after investigators observed activity consistent with drug trafficking. Two males, ages 18 and 20, were taken into custody while a third fled from police on foot and was observed to be carrying a firearm. The 16-year-old male was apprehended by a police canine and sustained minor injuries consistent with a dog bite. Upon his arrest, he was found to be in possession of a replica firearm.
A search warrant was then executed at an apartment in the 100 block of Willis Crescent where officers arrested a 28-year-old male.
CRT investigators seized a total of:
- $26,830.25 in cash
- 69 grams of cocaine
- 11 cell phones
- Scales and packaging
- Replica firearm
- Bear spray
- Crypto currency wallets
- 2016 Jeep Cherokee
All males are facing drug trafficking charges including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000.
The 16-year-old faces additional charges of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Resist Arrest, and breaching court-imposed conditions.
