Two people were arrested following a robbery yesterday evening.

At around 7:15 p.m. on August 24, 2025, police were called to a business in the 300 block of Confederation Drive for a report of an assault in progress. Upon arrival, officers learned that two people had been attempting to steal merchandise belonging to the business when they were confronted by a security guard; they then assaulted the security guard and fled. Officers located both suspects nearby and arrested them without incident.

As a result, a man and woman, both age 30, have been charged with robbery.
