Two men were arrested following a traffic stop last night.

Shortly before 11:00 p.m. on August 24, 2025, police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle known to be involved in an aggravated assault investigation from earlier in the month. As officers were taking the driver into custody, a passenger exited the vehicle and attempted to take a bag from the back seat. Officers took the bag from the passenger and located a loaded firearm and bear spray inside.

As a result, the two men, age 35 and 20, are facing several weapons-related charges.
