Members of the Serious Assault Unit are investigating a stabbing that occurred over the weekend.

At approximately 4:00 a.m., August 31, 2025, Police were called to the 1400 block of 21st Street West for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival officers located a 29 year old man suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to hospital. It is believed the man was nearby the home when he was approached by a male suspect who assaulted him and stole his phone.
