A man is facing charges after being found in possession of several weapons over the weekend.

At approximately 7:45 p.m., September 6, 2025, police were dispatched to a suspicious person who was acting erratically in the 800 block of Avenue P North. Upon arrival, officers located a man who was in possession of open alcohol. He was taken into custody and found to also have a machete, box cutter, scalpel, and a metal dumbbell bar concealed in his pants.

The 40-year-old man is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x2) and Carrying Concealed Weapon (x2).
