A man is facing charges after police witnessed him attempt a drug transaction over the weekend.

Shortly after 10:00 a.m., September 7, 2025, police officers were in the area of 23rd Street East and 3rd Avenue North when they observed a man attempting to complete a drug transaction. He initially resisted arrest and other officers attended to assist in taking the man into custody. He was found in possession of 4.13 grams of methamphetamine, bear spray, and a knife.

The 23-year-old is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x2), and Possession of a Concealed Weapon (x2).
