Saskatoon Police are investigating after responding to reported call involving a firearm yesterday evening.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., January 28, 2025, a woman reported that a male with a firearm was threatening her inside an apartment in the 100 block of Shillington Crescent. Several patrol units responded to the weapons call, however through further investigation by patrol officers, it was learned the woman had falsely made a report.

A 22-year-old woman was taken into custody at the scene. She is charged with Public Mischief. (Court Info # 991293565)
