A man is facing weapons-related charges after a call for service on Saturday night.

At approximately 9:00 p.m., September 6, 2025, police received reports of a man armed with a hatchet and looking into the yards of residences in the 600 block of 20th Street West. When officers arrived, they located a man matching the suspect description, and found him in possession of a hatchet and butterfly knife.

The 31-year-old man is charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying Concealed Weapon, and Carrying Concealed Prohibited Weapon. He was also arrested on outstanding warrants.
