A man is facing charges after robbing a liquor store last night.

At approximately 7:45 p.m., September 7, 2025, it was reported that a man had entered a liquor store in the 100 block of Gibson Bend and attempted to steal several bottles of alcohol. When confronted by staff, the male brandished bear spray before fleeing on foot. Following investigation, a man matching the suspect description was located by police and taken into custody. He was found to be concealing a can of bear spray in his waistband.

An 18-year-old man is charged with Robbery, Concealing his Identity, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying Concealed Weapon, and breach of court-imposed conditions.
