Two people were arrested on Friday evening after failing to stop for police in a stolen vehicle.

At approximately 8:45 p.m., September 5, 2025, a canine officer observed a vehicle known to be stolen in the area of 45th Street and Avenue C North. The driver refused to stop for police, but with assistance from the SPS Air Support Unit, stop sticks were successfully deployed on Airport Drive.

The 21-year-old female driver is charged with Evade Police, Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000, and breaching court-imposed conditions. A male passenger was arrested on outstanding warrants.
