Two men were arrested following an attempted armed robbery yesterday morning.

At around 6:30 a.m. on September 9, 2025, police were called to a business in the 3300 block of Fairlight Drive for a report of an attempted armed robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that two men had produced a firearm, pointed it at an employee, and demanded money; the employee refused and the suspects fled in a vehicle. Responding officers quickly located the vehicle in a nearby parking lot with two men matching the suspect descriptions inside. Following continued investigation, the men were arrested without incident and an imitation firearm was located inside the vehicle.

As a result, both 18-year-old men were charged with attempted robbery and using a firearm to commit robbery. One of the men also had outstanding warrants executed upon his arrest.
