A 14 year old male is facing a number of charges following a stabbing and robbery over the weekend.

At approximately 3:00 a.m., September 13, 2025, Police were called to the area of 22nd Street West and Avenue C. A passing ambulance had located a male at the location, suffering from multiple stab wounds. The injured 33 year old man was transported to hospital for treatment. Officers determined that the stabbing had happened about a block away, and that the victim's vehicle had been stolen. At approximately 3:40 a.m., Patrol Officers located the stolen Chevy Malibu in the area of 22nd Street and Circle Drive. A traffic stop was attempted, however the driver refused and continued northbound. A tire deflation device was successful in disabling the vehicle on Airport Drive, where the suspects attempted to flee on foot. They were quickly brought into custody and officers located a loaded firearm, knife and ammunition.

The 14 year old's charges include; Aggravated Assault, Robbery and firearm offences. He was also found to be in breach of probation.

A 29 year old man is facing charges of Dangerous Driving and Evade Police.

Members of the Serious Assault Unit continue to investigate. The victim is recovering in hospital.
