Two Saskatoon males, ages 20 and 29 are in custody following a weapons incident on the weekend.

At approximately 9:00 p.m., September 21, 2025, Police were called to a retail business in the 1700 block of Preston Avenue North. Two males had been in the store and had been confronted by staff members about theft. One male was observed to be armed with a knife. Both suspects attempted to flee on foot, however they were quickly brought into custody by Police. A conducted energy weapon was deployed during one arrest. Officers were able to located a knife and an improvised firearm at the scene.

The men are facing charges including; Armed Robbery, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Possession of Break and Enter Tools. Both men were also in breach of court condition.
