Police are investigating following an assault Friday afternoon.

At around 4:15 p.m. on October 3, 2025, police were called to the 300 block of Avenue H South for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers located the male victim suffering from various injuries. Further investigation determined that the man had been walking in the area when he was approached by two persons believed to be known to him and assaulted with a bladed weapon and a stick; he received non-life-threatening injuries as a result. The suspects then fled the area.

Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
