One man was arrested last night following a weapons call.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., February 6, 2025, Patrol officers were dispatched to Hilliard Street West and Ste Cecilia Avenue for a weapons call. The complainant told Police that a man was walking in the area, shouting and waving a knife. Upon Police arrival, the suspect was located standing in the intersection holding a knife and a multi-tool. He was taken into custody without incident and believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant. Officers located methamphetamine on his person.

The 51-year-old man is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of Methamphetamine and Breach of Conditions (x2).
