Police are investigating after two people were stabbed yesterday afternoon.

At around 3:40 p.m. on October 29, 2025, police were called to the area of 7th Street East and Victoria Avenue for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to hospital by paramedics for treatment of what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Further investigation led officers to following a trail of blood to a residence in the 400 block of 6th Street East; inside, a second male suffering from multiple stab wounds was found. Paramedics transported the man to hospital with what were believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Members of the Serious Assault Unit, Forensic Identification Section, and Patrol are continuing to investigate.
