One man was arrested following the conclusion of a drug trafficking investigation by the Crime Reduction Team.
At around 4:45 p.m. on November 6, 2025, members of the Crime Reduction Team, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, initiated enforcement action in a drug trafficking investigation with the arrest of a 21-year-old man in the 1100 block of Kolynchuk Link; he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking. Following his arrest, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence and made the following evidentiary seizures;
- $22,513 CAD
- 743.2 grams of fentanyl
- 552.9 grams of methamphetamine
- 362 grams of cocaine
- 750 mL of gamma-hydroxybutyrate
- Multiple mobile phones
- Assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking
As a result, the accused has been charged with several drug- and proceeds of crime-related offences.
