The Collision Analyst Unit has concluded an investigation at the scene of an earlier collision.
At around 8:30 a.m. this morning, November 14, 2025, police were called to the intersection of Preston Avenue South and 7th Street East for a report of a three-vehicle collision with injuries. Upon arrival, officers located the occupants of the vehicles nearby; one was suffering from what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics later transported her to hospital for further treatment. Continued investigation determined that one vehicle had proceeded from a stop sign before it was safe to do so when it collided with a second vehicle in the intersection, pushing it into a third vehicle. A ticket was issued to the driver who proceeded before it was safe.
Police have since cleared from the scene and traffic restrictions have been removed.

Police are currently responding to a collision with injuries at the intersection of Preston Avenue South and 7th Street East. Northbound traffic is being restricted between 5th Street East and 7th Street East on Preston Avenue South. Members of the motoring public are advised to find an alternate route of travel through the area.
The Collision Analyst Unit is continuing to investigate. An update will be provided upon removal of the restrictions.
