An 18 year old Prince Albert man is facing charges following a report of a gun being fired in the 600 block of Avenue X South.

At approximately 9:40 p.m., November 23, 2025, Police received a report of a gunshot in a parking lot. Upon arrival, a male suspect was located nearby in the dog park at 17th Street West and Avenue W South. The male refused to stop for police and continued to flee on foot. The SPS Canine Unit were able to make an apprehension in the area of Garfield Street. A shot gun was also located and the man was found to be in possession of ammunition.

The man is now facing six charges including Obstruction and Intentionally Discharging a Firearm.
