A 20 year old Saskatoon man is facing charges following an attempted armed robbery yesterday.

At approximately 4:00 p.m., November 25, 2025, Police were called to the 200 block of 23rd Street East. A 17 year old male reported being approached by an unknown man who showed a knife and demanded the youth's jacket. The youth was able to walk away and call police. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect nearby. He was found to have a 12" knife hidden in his sleeve and another knife in his backpack.

He is now facing charges of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace (x2), Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Breach of Probation (x2).

The victim was not physically harmed.
