A man is facing weapons charges after being found in possession of a homemade conducted energy weapon (CEW) and bear spray.

Shortly before 3:00 p.m., February 18, 2025, patrol officers responded to a motel in the 1400 block of 22nd Street West after it was reported a man was armed with a CEW in the lobby. Upon arrival, officers located the man and found him to be in possession of a homemade CEW and bear spray. Upon his arrival at SPS Detention, the man was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

The 41-year-old man is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x2), Carry Concealed Weapon (x2), Prohibited Possession of Weapon, and Possession of Methamphetamine. (Court Info #: 991295281)
