Saskatoon Police responded to two incidents of bear spray being deployed on City of Saskatoon Transit buses.

(25-25908) Shortly after 10:00 p.m., February 25, 2025, police responded to a transit bus in the 300 block of Confederation Drive after it was reported that a group of youth deployed bear spray at a passenger on the bus before fleeing on foot.

(25-25922) Then, at approximately 11:00 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to 20th Street West and Avenue O South after it was reported that bear spray was deployed on a bus. The suspects fled prior to police arrival.

Police are continuing to investigate.
