Three people are facing charges after the Saskatoon Police Warrant Enforcement Unit (WEU) seized several weapons on Friday night.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., January 9, 2026, members of the WEU conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Avenue L South. Further investigation located a sawed-off rifle, a replica firearm, brass knuckles, bear spray, and methamphetamine.
A 30-year-old female is charged with Possession of Prohibited Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Unauthorized Possession in Motor Vehicle, and breach of court-imposed conditions. (Court Info # 991326835).
A 30-year-old male is charged with Possession of Prohibited Weapon (x3), and Prohibited Possession (x2). (Court Info # 991326837)
A 32-year-old female was found to be unlawfully at large and arrested. (Court Info # 991325132).
A 24-year-old female is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
