A male youth is facing charges after attempting to rob a female of her purse yesterday at a bus stop.

Shortly after 5:00 p.m., March 10, 2026, two males approached a female in the 300 block of Confederation Drive and attempted to steal her purse. A physical altercation ensued and the suspects deployed bear spray towards the victim before fleeing on foot. With assistance from Community Support Officers, police located one of the suspects and took him into custody.

The 15-year-old male is charged with Robbery, Resisting Arrest, Obstruction, and breaching court-imposed conditions.
