Members of the SPS Serious Assault Unit are investigating a stabbing that occurred yesterday evening.

At approximately 8:20 p.m., March 16, 2026, Police received a report of an injured male at a store in the 3300 block of Fairlight Drive. Upon arrival officers located a 15 year old male who was suffering from several serious injuries. He was transported to hospital for treatment. The teen reported that he had been waiting at a bus stop when he was approached by another male who stabbed him.

The victim and suspect are known to each other.
