One woman was arrested following an imitation firearm being discharged.

Shortly before 3:30 a.m. on March 26, 2026, police received a report of an unknown problem in the area of 20th Street West and Avenue U South. As officers were responding, additional information was received that a woman on a bike had fired something towards a nearby taxi resulting in a window being shattered. Officers arrived in the area and located a woman matching the suspect description in the area of 20th Street West and Avenue V South. She was arrested without incident and found to be in possession of an imitation firearm.

As a result, the 21-year-old Saskatoon woman was charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon, mischief under $5000, and breach of probation.
