Saskatoon Police are investigating after a vehicle fled from police and struck several parked vehicles early this morning.
At approximately 1:30 a.m., April 2, 2026, a driver that had been the subject of an earlier erratic driving complaint fled from police in the area of 33rd Street and Avenue W North before striking three parked and unoccupied vehicles in the 2400 block of 33rd Street West. The vehicle came to a rest when it hit a tree.
The 25-year-old male driver and 32-year-old female passenger were both transported to hospital for treatment of what are believed to be serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The SPS Collision Analyst Unit is continuing to investigate but impairment is believed to be a factor.
Members of the Collision Analyst Unit have finished gathering the physical evidence at the scene of the single-vehicle collision in the 2700 block of 33rd St W. Traffic restrictions have been removed.

The Saskatoon Police are currently at the scene of a single vehicle collision in the 2700 block of 33rd Street West.
Traffic restrictions are in place for both westbound and eastbound traffic between Avenue Y North and Northumberland Avenue. Motorist are asked to please avoid the area.
