Saskatoon Police are investigating in relation to a robbery and assault that occurred Sunday evening.

On April 5, 2026 at approximately 8:25 p.m., police received a report of an injured person in the 300 block of Avenue C South. Initial information indicated a woman had been assaulted. Officers arrived on scene and located the woman; she was transported to hospital by paramedics for what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Through investigation, officers learned the woman was assaulted by two unknown people and robbed of her backpack.
