Police are investigating following an incident on a city bus yesterday evening.

At around 6:15 p.m. on April 8, 2026, police were called to a stationary city bus in the 2300 block of Preston Avenue South for a report of bear spray being discharged. Upon arrival, officers learned that a group of young males had been disturbing a man on the bus before exiting the bus and discharging bear spray; the suspects then fled the area. The suspects and victim are not believed to be known to one another.

Members of Patrol are continuing to investigate.
