Arrest - Impaired Driving - 2300 Block Preston Avenue South

One man has been arrested following an impaired driving investigation early this morning.

Shortly after 12:00 a.m. on April 10, 2026, police received a report of a Dodge Challenger that had driven through the patio fence of a business in the 2300 block of Preston Avenue South. The vehicle was located a short time later driving in the area of Heritage Crescent and Taylor Street East. A traffic stop was initiated; however, the vehicle continued to travel at slow speeds before coming to a stop at Brudell Road and Franklin Crescent. Upon speaking with the driver, he was believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant.

Following an impaired driving investigation, the 48-year-old Saskatoon man has been charged with impaired driving and exceeding .08.
