Saskatoon Police arrested one man who was found to be in possession of multiple knives on Saturday morning.
On April 11, 2026 at around 11:20 a.m., police were called to a business in the 300 block of Confederation Drive for a report of a disturbance. Further information indicated a female was allegedly attempting to steal merchandise and another male approached and threatened a security guard.
Arriving officers located and arrested both suspects; a search of the man’s jacket resulted in police locating two knives.
As a result, the 24-year-old man has been charged with two counts of possession of a weapon and two counts of carrying a concealed weapon. The woman was released without charges.
