Saskatoon Police are investigating a weapons complaint involving a knife following a cab ride on Friday.
At around 10:45 a.m. on April 10, 2026, police responded to a weapons complaint in the 400 block of Montreal Avenue South.
Officers arriving on scene located the victim who was not physically injured as a result of this incident. Through initial investigation, officers learned a cab driver was giving a male a ride and upon arrival at the location, the male went inside to get money to pay for the ride. After several minutes, the driver knocked on the door and a verbal altercation ensued before the male suspect allegedly threatened the driver with a knife.
Police are continuing to investigate this incident.
