Police are investigating following a suspicious death last night.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m. on April 15, 2026, officers responded to a report of an injured and unresponsive person in an apartment unit in the 1100 block of Avenue W North. Life-saving measures were attempted; however, the person was declared deceased by medical personnel.

Members of the Major Crime and Forensic Identification Sections were called to the scene and are continuing to investigate. An update will be provided when new information is known.
