Saskatoon Police arrested one man who has now been charged with assault in relation to a stabbing early Saturday morning.
On April 18, 2026 at around 2:20 a.m., officers were dispatched to a report of an injured person in the 100 block of 2nd Avenue North. Dispatch information indicated that a man had been stabbed.
Officers quickly arrived on scene and located a male who immediately fled on foot; he was arrested without further incident shortly after. Officers also located a 19-year-old man with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries consistent with a stabbing. He was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital for further medical care.
As a result of this investigation, the 17-year-old male youth has been charged with assault causing bodily harm.
