One man has been arrested on outstanding warrants and is facing multiple firearms related charges after being found to be in possession of disassembled firearm parts.

On April 17, 2026 while in the 2200 Block of 22nd Street West, members of the Saskatoon Police Service located a male with outstanding warrants for impaired driving. Officers arrested the man and a further search of his person resulted in police located multiple disassembled firearm parts.

The 26-year-old man has been charged with carrying a prohibited weapon in a careless manner, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm, and possession of a loaded prohibited firearm. He is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court Monday morning.
