Saskatoon Police are investigating robberies that occurred over the weekend.
(26-66571): At approximately 10:30 p.m., May 16, 2026, police responded to a restaurant in the 200 block of 33rd Street West for an in-progress robbery. Upon arrival, police learned two males entered the restaurant and demanded cash while brandishing a knife and what appeared to be the handle of a firearm. They were not successful and were last seen running eastbound on 33rd Street.

(26-66855): At approximately 3:45 p.m., May 18, 2026, police responded to a parking lot in the 1600 block of 22nd Street West in response to a robbery. Police located the victim suffering from injuries from a physical assault who reported that the suspects stole his cell phone and cash. The 38-year-old was transported to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects fled prior to police arriving.

(26-67352): Shortly before 5:00 p.m., May 18, 2026, a man reported walking in the 200 block of Avenue R South when he was approached by a male armed with a sawed-off shotgun. The males entered a residence where the victim was robbed of his cell phone, sweater, and hat. The victim fled the residence uninjured.
