One man was arrested following an assault early this morning.

At around 3:45 a.m. on July 23, 2026, police were called to an apartment building in the 1900 block of 22nd Street West for a report of an assault in progress. Upon arrival, officers located an injured woman near the front doors to the building. Further investigation determined that a domestic assault had occurred within one of the building’s units. Officers then attended to the unit and arrested the suspect.

As a result, the 24-year-old Saskatoon man has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Assault by Suffocation.
