Police are investigating after a man was stabbed last night.

At around 11:45 p.m. on February 10, 2026, police were called to a hospital in the 1700 block of 20th Street West for a report of a man suffering from a stab wound. Upon arrival, officers located the victim and determined the stabbing to have occurred at a residence in the 300 block of Avenue J South following a confrontation with persons not believed to be known to the victim. Police then attended to the residence on Avenue J South and found that the suspects had fled prior to their arrival.

Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
